The writers have handed on us ancient history of mermaids: Partenope, Ligea and Leucosia, won from Orfeo in a song contest, were transformed in rocks; the city taken to the name from the first mermaid. Ulisse didn’t let seduce from the song of the mermaids which would have found the dead throwing themselves on the rocks of the Gulf. One of they, Partenope, would have been found again on the island of Megaride, where later on, the Castel of the Ovo came constructed. |

Gli antichi scrittori ci hanno tramandato antiche storie di sirene: Partenope, Ligea e Leucosia, vinte da Orfeo in una gara di canto, furono trasformate in scogli; dalla prima sirena prese il nome la città. Ulisse non si lasciò sedurre dal canto delle sirene le quali avrebbero trovato la morte gettandosi sugli scogli del Golfo. Una di esse, Partenope, sarebbe stata ritrovata sull’isoletta di Megaride, dove in seguito, venne costruito il Castel dell’Ovo. |

Les auteurs anciens nous ont transmis les histories des sirènes : Parthénope, Liégea et Leucose, gagnées par Orphée à un concours de chansons, furent transformées en rochers ; la ville prit le nom de la première. Ulysse ne se laissa pas séduire par la chanson des sirènes qui auraient trouvé la mort en se jetant sur les rochers du Golfe. Parthénope, aurait été trouvé sur l'île de Megaride, où plus tard, fut construit Castel de l'Ovo. |

The Gulf of Naples, qualified to the biodiversity, is a point of convergence of fauna where all and the four stocks of fauna of the Mediterranean can be found, species from Atlantic zones, species of Mauritania origin, species of Eritrean origin and species that live alone in the Mediterranean. |

Il Golfo di Napoli, adattissimo alla biodiversità, è un punto di convergenza faunistica dove si possono trovare tutti e quattro gli stock faunistici del Mediterraneo cioè faune provenienti da zone atlantiche, specie di origine mauritanica, specie di origine eritrea e specie che vivono solo nel Mediterraneo. |
